Baylor Scott & White Residency February 2022

Hey, I wanted to start this thread for all of us applying for any Baylor Scott & White locations to keep each other updated with responses and interviews. I applied for BUMC specifically.

has anyone heard from BUMC about OR positions?? Asking for a friend who interviewed last Friday!

I didn’t interview for OR, but for the ICU last week and heard back next day. Did she happen to reach out to the recruiter for BUMC? If not, I can provide you with email and phone number.

I think she texted her today and hasn’t heard back! I will tell her to maybe reach out again? Thank you sm, I appreciate the help:)

You’re welcome! I know it’s best to call her before 9 am on week days.

When did they (BUMC) reach out for interviews?? I received the location/unit preference form and filled it out as soon as I got it and have yet to hear back. I also emailed the BSW internship email and have heard nothing ? I'm starting to lose hope!! Could you provide me with the BUMC recruiter email?

BUMC reached out for interviews about 3 weeks ago and had interviews last week. I can message you the recruiter’s contact info. Did you apply to other locations?

Nope. Just BUMC. Another person in my class is in the same boat too. I think I remember them saying they were doing rolling interviews/offers during the expo but I'm not sure.

I had my interview at BUMC for the OR position on Monday and they said they were gonna start calling with offers this week! ?

hey everyone! new here and have just been reading through this thread. I have my first set of virtual interviews for Waco on Friday or PCU and ED; my top would’ve been NICU or ICU, but they said they only had about 1-2 spots for those, which have now been filled. next week I have a virtual interview for Temple Memorial for ICU, ED and PCU. super nervous because the temple recruiter said there would be about 14 people that would be on the other side interviewing me. do you guys have any tips? how to answer questions and what kind of questions? thank you and hope everyone has received offers!

You should expect mostly behavioral questions. ED did also ask some situational questions. Be confident and use as many clinical experiences in your answers. For virtual panel interviews, make sure you are giving every one visible on the screen eye contact.

I have no idea I’m sorry! ? I know at BUMC they have 12 spots to fill though! Do you have a way to contact a recruiter about setting up an interview?
