Baylor GN Internships June 2015

I thought I would make a thread for the Baylor GN internships of June 2015. Has anybody heard anything about interviews yet?

I applied to ER, OR & critical care & haven't heard anything yet. Fingers crossed :)

I applied to Critical Care, Women's health, and Progressive Care. I haven't heard anything back. Hoping for something soon!

My classmates have had their OR & Med/Surg phone interviews already. Apparently the only place that is left open for those positions is in Garland. The interviewers said Baylor University Medical Center and Plano are full for those internships.

Still no word about Critical Care, Progressive Care, or ER.

Still no word about Critical Care, Progressive Care, or ER. Oh and base pay is $24.25/hour.

Rumor has it that Baylor Garland is the the only location left with any positions in any specialty left? Does anyone know if this is true?

I had a medsurg, and OR interview last week. They tried to sway me towards Garland and Dallas for medsurge and Carrollton and Plano for the OR. I was denied the ER internship literally 30 minutes after I submitted the initial application and chose 3 areas. The internship sounds pretty great... I am really hoping I am selected for the OR internship. Has anyone had a second interview yet?

Wow! I hadn't heard about the only positions left being in Garland. But I'm guessing that it probably isn't entirely true. I had a phone interview for OR this week and was invited to the New Grad interview day. The recruiter did ask about which hospitals that I would be interested in but never said that Baylor Dallas had no availability. Honestly, I'm really only interested in Baylor Dallas. So I guess we will see how it goes.

I haven't heard anything for Women's Health, Progressive Care, and Critical Care. Are they sending out rejection emails or do they not contact people at all?

Our class was told if you don't hear anything then assume you are still under consideration. I believe they do send rejection emails.
