Baylor FastBacc Summer 2022

Hello everyone!

I just hit submit on NursingCas for the Summer 2022 start with Baylor! HESI was taken on Sept. 22nd and I have a couple pre-reqs to complete in the meantime. I hope to connect with more applicants and hopefully become future classmates!! GOOD LUCK!???

Hi guys ? Thanks for all recommendations for HESI preparation. Everything you guys recommended me was sooooo helpful! I will be having an interview soon. How did you guys prepare for interview? I am sooo nervous....

I'm glad everything helped! Tbh, I personally didn't prep or practice for the interview, it's maybe a 20-30min zoom call and they ask you the general questions like why nursing? why our school? how do you study? etc. I would have those responses in mind that are tailored to the truth of you and you should be fine! The interviewer I had was very informative and had a welcoming personality, don't worry !

Hello all,

Congrats on the interviews and acceptance. I applied to Baylor University on the 15th of January and received an email on the 19th inviting me to fill out a time on Signup Genius for an interview on the 24th of January. I am very nervous about the interview and luckily found this group. Can anyone help with some of the likely questions to prepare for? I hate interviews but I can't avoid this one...please help

Congrats on the interview invite! Previously in this thread, some interview info has been shared, but Youtube could be a good source for general nursing school interview tips. It goes by pretty fast and is more informative in my opinion than solely 1 on 1 interviewing if that makes sense!

Hey kayb,

Thanks for your response, I'm now just opening this site again. I was able to read more info online on what to prepare for, and I agree Youtube was definitely a good resource.

I had the interview earlier today and it was so laid back, it was like having a conversation with a friend. I was initially tensed up but my interviewer was calm and smiled with each of my response, and that kind of calmed my nerves down a bit.

Fingers crossed, she said I'll be hearing back by the end of January. She did mention that the committee meets on Thursdays to agree or disagree with the interviewers' decision, so hopefully any day after this Thursday I should be hearing from one of the student services members on the final decision.

It’s been literal hell waiting. I’m pretty disappointed and it almost makes me feel worse.

Congrats!! I’ll be going there as well. I’m currently finishing up the prerequisites and anxiously waiting to start in May!
