Has anyone already gotten accepted for January 2011 at Barry? If so how was the interview process? How long did it take to be notified of an interview after all documentation was submitted? How long did it take for you to be notified re: admit decision after your interview? Also can you share your stats like GRE, GPA and work experience. Thanks!

Sand1025- Thanks. Yes, I received an e-mail stating I was admitted and that an official letter would be in the mail.

I am still waiting too. I spoke with (moderator edit of name/initials) who is an assistant director of admissions yesterday and she stated that my file is under review with the committee and that it may take a month to hear anything.

My file was complete at the end of March and I am still waiting as well.

bf24RN- Congratulations! When did you apply for the spring term? And do you mind sharing your gpa and more or less the grades that you recieved in the core sciences! I am also applying to the Spring term but I havent applied yet because Terry told me to wait till I finish the summer classes so my new GPA can set it. Please let me know. Im so worried I dont get accepted :(

I got accepted to the Fall2010 !!!! Guys they are still taking people who are meeting the requirements!!! Find out! However the Baptist scholarsprogram has already picked there few.

hi gasspasser, i have read your messages on this thread. i think your one of the most popular :), cant wait to see you. am from sebring 16 bed capacity ICU. its a general ICU so we get all kinds :). am so excited to be in this program, i waited for 3 years .. that is so long.. i have to be a CRNA before i get 30. how about you? do you have any idea any possible place to stay in orlando? am looking for a cheap one bed room apt, a place where i can study and bury my face on books. oh noooo... am quite anxious of the unknown. Id like things ready and set up. less stressors but i cant think how to start. your input will be of great help..

Yeah, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and matching faces to some of these screen names. As far as where to stay in Orlando area... I would stay clear of downtown area (too much crime). Places like Maitland, Altamonte Springs, Winter Park, Longwood, and Casselberry are your the best choices. They are all very accessible to Orlando (all within 15-20 minutes) and are "good" parts of town. There are TONS of apartment complexes around with rates around $600/mo. Are you familiar with the Orlando area at all?

Congrats on getting in...Anyone know if they are still reviewing applications at this point? I have not heard anything yet and I applied back in March.

Is anyone doing the headstart program? I am interested in how it works, and what the benefits are. I requested some information from Barry, but I would like to hear some thoughts from students. Does it allow you to just spread out the work load or do you finish quicker? The website isn't real specific! Thanks! :)
