They don't accept Portage for sure, and besides U of New England I think there are other schools like University of North Dakota and Southern California University of Health Sciences that they should accept.

I did orgo chem through University of England and I DO NOT recommend. It was pretty hard. Managed with a B but still, very very hard.

I applied to 2023 too and got denied to interview like a year after. I reapplied this year again for 2024. lets see

Did they specify what it was about your app that didn't get you an interview? I asked UM and FIU and they send out generic info like number of applicants, average GPA, years of experience, take sciences, etc. But it was not specifically tailored to what I could improve myself.

What did you use to help you?

YouTube(Leah4sci was really helpful), Khan Academy, reading each chapter thoroughly and making your own notes. You have to teach yourself because its really a bunch of lectures with voice recordings. The lab was helpful and tied into the lecture.

I'm planning to apply as well! Currently going over some GRE study material. My top campus would be Tampa

They do not have a Tampa campus any longer.

Specializes in ICU CCRN.

Just wondering if anyone has any resources they recommend for the GRE? Thanks in advance.

I picked up a Kaplan GRE review book and it's pretty good with online practice tests as well as in book tests

Planning on applying. Finishing BSN and taking chem 1 with lab this Summer. Need GRE so I'll be late applicant, but just want to see my chances. if not this cycle, definitely doing next cycle.

I rather take the CCRN than the GRE ?

Feel like it makes more sense having that than the GRE for CRNA school

Ugh. Agreed.
At least ccrn is field related.
I've taken the GRE twice and it's literally the worst.

LOL same. I already got my CCRN thankfully. Glad that's over with.

I take my GRE soon and honestly don't want to. Studying for it makes me so miserable

Gregmat for sure. You have to get the ETS guide books and some other materials but he makes one and two month plans for $6 a month! I recommend using the ETS books because you'll see exactly what the GRE is looking for.
