Anyone applying to Barry University BSN to DNP starting May 2019?

Right yeah, I knew the email wasn't an official invitation. But I guess I thought initially that they were telling me to expect an invitation? Because I didn't understand why they would be telling me when the interview dates were if they weren't planning on offering me an interview.

They told me dates in my email as well. I think it's just more so you can plan ahead just in case they do call you.

Well! Here's to hoping I don't get rejected now! Cause I've told a few people that I'm waiting on my official interview invitation to Barry! I don't feel stupid or anything now. Lol. As if this process wasn't stressful enough...

I am also applying for Barry CRNA program starting on May 2019. Question: How do you guys sent the recommendation letters? I already sent my application, missing the GRE scores. Taking it on October, fingers crossed!!!

I just emailed them all to Carolyn. I literally emailed everything to Carolyn lol. She is super helpful!

I took it to the office myself. They were sealed, of course.

By the way make sure you take the GRE two to three weeks before the application deadline because it takes two to three weeks for the official scores to reach the university.

Hey everyone! So I got an email last week saying that my application was being reviewed and "the next step would be scheduling an interview." Does this mean they are planning to interview me? Because they also told me what dates they are interviewing in October, and because I live 1200+ miles away, I told them that I wasn't available for the first date but would be available for the second date. They said they would give me enough notice and get back to me with "feedback and more information" the first week of October. It's just that my initial reaction was that I thought they were telling me that I was going to be invited for an interview, but now I am not so sure. It's like the wording was vague. Carolyn emailed me back and said that "hopefully I can be part of the October 26 interviews."

Did anyone else have a similar experience? Does this mean that I am going to be invited for an interview? Or does it just mean that they've started reviewing my application? Thanks and good luck to everyone!

Same experience here. I was told the same thing; application under review and given the dates and I am local. I think they just wanted you to know the dates for planning purposes not necessarily that you will be invited. I'm actually still waiting:(
