Hey all,
I saw where one of the posters stated she was attending Barnes and would have classes on the evening and clinicals on the weekend. I briefly stopped in at the school the other day and was told by a receptionist that there are no evening or weekend classes/clinicals available. Would someone please clarify the eve/weekend issue? Thanks.

The website contact link gives 454-7055 as the tel. number. Try calling them!
Already tried that tact and am now waiting for a response. Thus far, no response so I resorted to posting on the thread. However, I must say that one would think if you are at the school there would be a definitive answer available.
Ah, sorry. I'm not a student there but I did meet someone this summer who is starting the 2-yr weekend/night program in January. But anything's possible - maybe they're changing their programs. I'm sure you'll get an answer soon, either here or by phone. Good luck.

Hello,
I started the Upper Division BSN program there last month, and while I go during the day, the class that starts in January will be nights and weekends. When I was first applying there, I was told that they were going to alternate with day program starting one semester (fall) and a nights/weekends program the next (spring). The BSN is a total of 5 semesters, which they just changed from 6.
I usually had good luck emailing one of the recruiters when I had questions. If you haven't had a phone call yet, you might want to try that route. Let me know if there is something I can help you with.

Yeah. I just got accepted to Barnes for the Jan. 09' semester, which IS the evenings class/weekend clinical program. Not sure what the receptionist was telling you. (She probably had no idea what she was talking about) :) I do know that there is already a waiting list for Jan '09 semester. Hope this helps!
P.S. Like the above poster already said, I would try emailing. If that doesn't work, just call in and ask to speak to Anita. She is VERY friendly and knowledgeable. Good luck, and I hope this isn't coming like 6 months too late.
