Can someone give me some information on the asn eve and weekend program?
How many nights do you attend class and how many clinicals do you have with each semester through out the program.? I am appling for the spring 07 asn program and would like to hear from some past or current students. Thanks in advance.

There really isn't a specific "weekend program". For each class you take, there is one day of lecture and one day of clinical. I have never taken more than 2 classes at a time. (This is assuming you have your prereq's done already). It is just that you can sign up for any lecture either for a day or evening class. And as far as clinicals, you have the option of a day 7a-3p or evening 3p-11p or weekend (which would be on a sat or sun 7a-3p. It's very flexible. If you go to the school website and go to current students, it's shows the next semesters class schedule. That should give you an idea! hope that helps!!

Are they still planning on phasing out the ASN program? I was told this the last time I called up there.
The students at Barnes always have the best things to say about their school!

Their NCLEX-RN pass rate is 86%. Thats a lot of $$$ the pay for a not so good nursing education. Source: The Missouri State Board of Nursing.
hmm,
I've always heard good things about the school
They are no longer taking application for the ASN program. They are increasing spaces in the BSN upper division and accelerated program
