Baptist Tuition Fees?

Published

I'm looking into which LVN program to attend in San Antonio. They all sound good, except I was advised to chose the program with the least tuition cost. Galen College of Nursing's tuition sure is expensive! (~$17K) However, Baptist School of Nursing's website did not provide their tuition cost. Has anyone attended school there for the LVN program? How much was it? Someone mentioned on another thread that if you attend at Baptist, they will pay for your tuition if you sign a contract to work with them for one year. Does anyone know if that's true?

I also heard St. Phillips is pretty inexpensive, but not sure how good of a school it is. Does anyone have any idea? I just don't want to get stuck paying back a lot of money after graduation since my husband will also be paying back his student loans.

I'm in the RN program at Baptist. Our tuition is about $3800/semester, give or take a few. I believe they awarded 12 out of 70 applicants a work loan that pays for their tuition if they work for Baptist for 2-3 years.
