Baptist School of Health Professions 2014 RN

I am accepting a seat at Baptist School in San Antonio for Spring 2014. Does anyone know when the first day of school is?

What about nearby apartments that range from 500-600 month for 1 bedroom. I am relocating from Houston to San Antonio.

Yeah it was a psych eval. I had one on file from a NICU job I applied to @ Baptist, I was just hoping the answers were the same lol. I have a friend who's in the last year she told me the same about late admits so here's hoping. Do y'all know when the orientation is yet?

Yes but I just started working night shift due to my hubby getting laid off so now I'm stuck deciding if the schedule will work for me :( I have to let them know by the end of today :(

Don't know if this will help but I to work the night shift. I work Monday - Friday 3 to 1130 pm . I was very concerned about this schedule and whether or not it was going to interfere with school. I have spoken to several people about the hours that the Baptist day program requires of students and everyone seems to agree that both classes and clinicals should not interfere with my work hours. Is that the shift that you will be working to or is it actually graveyard shift?

Thanks George!! I'm 7pm-7am so it will interfere with clinicals if clinicals start at 6:30 :( I'll be all tired in class but clinicals is what was worrying me!!

Is it self scheduling?

I used to work friday, Saturday& Sunday 7p-7a

The LVN program I was in was mon-fri. I was exhausted Saturday nights & Sunday mornings but I had to do it (my son was 1 at the time) 0_o

You might have to do that until your husband gets back to work.

You apply for either the day or night program, but they make your schedule for you, for the first semester.

Angelicalvn2rn I think I might need to do that. They said they're flexible so maybe it will work if I don't schedule myself the night before clinicals so I can be there on time

If you've been accepted into the day nursing program, they will assign you class times similar to my previous post. I do believe they told us that instead of scheduling ourselves, they will register us for our first semester classes and then starting second semester we will register for our own classes. It's been so long since processing day, I've forgotten many details, so that may not be the case. I would check with our advisor to see what they mean by "flexible".

Hi guys, I found out where our schedules are located. If you go to the school's website under current students click on "sonisweb" and using your student ID from your financial aid award letter and your pin from when you applied you can log in. Hope this helped!!

Thanks Katie, you are a very resourceful person, I like that! I was really curious about my schedule and to my surprise now, I've got it! Hope you like your schedule, mine looks although it is going to work with my job, I was really worried about that.
