Baptist Nursing Scholarship

Published

Hi, I have noticed that there is not much information on how good this scholarship really is once you graduate from the nursing program. I now know that baptist no longer pays 100% tuition they pay only 28,000 at least that's for Nova because that is where I will be attending. Also I heard that once you start working for them they pay you less then other new grad nurses or that they discount more from your pay. But I wanted to know if that is actually true. I just do not know yet if I want to go through with trying to obtain this scholarship if it's not going to be worth it in the long run.

First off, you haven't told us what the scholarship program is, which Baptist hospital in which city/state, (I am at a Baptist hospital in India just now!).

I think you will get more response if you give a few more details.

Yeah baptist is a common healthcare systems name. There are two distinct ones in Alabama that are not affiliated and that cover like 8 hospitals between them. I also think there is one in Florida is that who your referring to someone nice you mentioned nova. I personally have never heard of a hospital paying you less because you got tutition reimbursement or a scholarship from them. You may one to speak to the hospital's hr department for the most accurate information.

I am referring to the one in South Miami because I will be attending Nova Southeastern University and Baptist offers a scholarship with that school. My bad didn't know there was so many..I just wanted to know if anyone had more information.
