Hello! I'm starting my nursing classes in Spring 2013! I'm looking for any students that are starting so we can talk about classes, professors and study groups and study tips!

I'm a transfer Baptist student. I'm currently taking Health Assessment. I hope everyone is off to a great start this fall trimester.

Currently waiting on my decision of Spring'14!!!! I was wait listed for Fall'13 admissions so I'm hoping I get in this time around fingers crossed!!!!

can someone who has attended Baptist tell me how early progression works? I'm applying there for spring 2014 and I will have all my prereqs done by that summer. Will I be able to apply for progression to the fall 2014 clinicals? Thanks!

We have to complete 12 hrs at Baptist including 3 hrs of science before we can apply for early progression. Spring '13 was the first yr of having to apply for progression so I don't think they have all the kinks worked out yet. I already have all my prereqs done expect for the ones that are Baptist only classes.

Did u apply before Oct. 1st deadline?

I haven't applied yet, but the admissions guy said I had until Nov 1st. It does seem like they haven't worked out all the kinks yet since it's all so confusing. I could knock out my 12 credits including science in the spring, but then I don't want to wait forever to start clinicals you know?

Other than that Baptist seems like an amazing program!

Copy of my letter:

The Admissions Office staff has finalized your admissions file and determined that you have met the stated admissions criteria for the Baptist College of Health Sciences. As you are probably aware, admission to Baptist College is competitive and your entire academic record is reviewed to make all admissions decisions. Because you have completed the admissions process and met the stated admissions criteria, your academic record is being reviewed at this time. Once a decision is made, I will post this to your on line admissions account. Because we know that you will be anxiously awaiting this decision, we will begin posting decisions to your online account the first week of October and continue throughout that month.

They post the letters on the application website. If you scroll to the bottom of the you will see a link that says Application Decision
