From your posting, I will move this to the UK forum where you will get more answers. This is the Admin Help Forum and the viewers are limited to admins and unfortunately none of us are from the UK.
Please let me know if the UK forum isn't the right one. Thanks.

I assume this is a ward manager role? I would start with saying you would audit the current quality of documentation, feedback to the team, ask for their thoughts on how it can be improved etc. Then I would explain how to coach, support, educate, lead by example, act as a role model etc - then re-audit.
Obviously include the legal aspects of good documentation during your presentation - you just have to look at the fitness to practice hearings on the NMC website to see where failing to maintain records can lead.
Sharrie has advice on interviews in her blog so you will get plenty of good advice from there.

Hi there, for a band 7 I would expect you to be up to date on the latest government drives and policies for the area you are working in. Not sure which area of the UK you are in so this may vary from place to place. I know we have big drives at the moment for quality care, cancer targets and elective surgery waiting times.
I need to think a bit more about interview tips for a band 7, I'll get back to you
Your presentation:
If your being asked about improving quality then they are thinking about clinical governance issues. I've got a bit about this in my blog, the link is in my signature and maybe you can tailor your presentation around the core elements of the clinical governance umbrella. (You'll never go far wrong using CG as a basis for presentations is it's all about quality care)
So maybe start with an audit to establish the extent of the problem, involving staff in this as involvement early on is more likely to give a positive outcome. (Reference some Change Management theories if needed)
Then in CG you've got education and training, risk management and lots of other elements that could fill your presentation.
Remember reduced blame culture, so is the problem a problem with individuals in which case are there professional development issues, and you can mention KSF, personal development reviews in there. Or is it an organisational problem, is it as a result of other issues such as high workload leaving not enough time, skill mix, staffing levels
Just some ideas. Let us know if there's anything else you need or if you want to run anything past us give us a shout.
Please keep us posted about how you get on
Many thanks , your posts have been very helpful. The area is an intermediate care/ rehabilitation . Any questions that you may think of i will be asked please just post them or any government intiatives surrounding rehabilitation/intermediate care.
Thanks
I don't know much about your area of work and obviously have no idea what Trust you work for, but I would look at the corporate objectives and try and link these in the presentation too.
Read up on whatever the hot topics are for your Trust - probably cost improvement and reducing length of stay. Also have a vision of where you want to make improvements, if you don't already have the productive ward / releasing time to care, have a look at the principles. Ward dash boards are becoming more common and again have a think about these and if they are something you would consider being implemented - if they are not already.
These are the things that excite me and although I'm no longer a ward manager I still would like to be involved in these.
The other type of questions I'm sure you will get are senario based ones, I was asked about tackling racism for my ward manager job. I can't remember all of my questions but I do recall being able to answer using previous experiences of tackling problems which is better that relying on what you think you would / should do.
