Hi everyone! I am starting this thread for those applying to BC nursing for Spring 2019. Application period runs from June 1st - July 15th. This will be my second time applying.

Yes that's very true! And yes it's my first time applying, just finished up my prereqs this past spring semester. I know I got minus 5 pts bc I had to retake a&p 1 lol.. made a mistake of taking it when I wasn't serious about nursing and horribly failed. I've taken all the "suggested" classes though too bad we don't get points for the the first time around

Ok, it's my 2nd because Last semester I applied when I wasn't finished with my microbiology. Have u taken the teas??

Yes! I took the teas right after spring semester ended I got an 82% I was aiming for higher but I mean what can you do ! Wby?

That's a great teas score! Did you apply to CSUB with it ? I didn't do great on the teas but it's passing, I gt a 73.1.

I haven't yet but I plan to apply to CSUB ! i was hoping to wait out some other schools to save $$ but I might not be able to

Did anyone receive an email or hear of any others getting them? I got an email stating that they were extending the deadline to Oct 2... did anyone else get this email ?

I have not gotten an email yet.. it's crazy that they've extended the deadline twice lol...must be a lot of applicants considering we applied in july

Yes I did hear it's a lot of applicants ... but I think that it's this way every application period from reading past applicants.

Yeah same here.. I guess all we can do is wait.. I have not received any emails lil I'm paranoid

I'd like to think that all the denials went out already etc and all the accepted and alternates etc will go out next week (praying:)
