Anyone else applying for the BADNAP OCCC program to begin this summer? Wonder what GPA will work for acceptance? Mine is about a 3.0 w all preqs complete.

Got an email saying my application was ineligible. So annoyed. They didn't count 3 of my courses from UT Austin, so I emailed them and told them I'd send them the syllabus for each one so they could see they were equivalent. Congrats to those that got in or on the waitlist though!

I wonder Why the adisor failed to tell you that, the advisors are supposed to review the application before submission and they advise accordingly. If I were you, I would appeal the decision of disqualification. Its not too late

Yeah that's my plan. I had the same thing happen with OU and they repealed it and put me on the waitlist, so hopefully it'll work itself out. I just got in off of OU's waitlist today and honestly I'm so conflicted on what to do if OCCC does accept me. I didn't think I'd ever hear from OU and I thought OCCC was a done deal so it's been a weird day haha

Man, I'm checking my email more than ever now, just waiting for one person to drop out. I am alternate number 1. Also still taking one pre-req. If I hear anything, I will post about it so you have an indication of how quickly people are dropping out. Best of luck to you!

You are as good as in. People must drop out because it has always been the trend.

I heard that - I "VIP'd" the email address on my phone telling me I'm the #5 alternate (so I'll get an alert for any futures). But I feel lucky to be #5 considering I'm currently in Micro (required), Physiology (required), Lifespan Development (required) [all at OSU-OKC] and a 1 hour biology lab at OCCC (because I need a 5th "Biology" hour). I'll be glad when this semester is over.

Hello all- congrats on getting into BADNAP! My cohort just finished last week and we can say it was a tough journey but worth it.

Someone in my class made a facebook group so that we could all communicate easily and ask questions. Also, the people from the year before us joined and sold us uniforms and textbooks and answered our questions. If you make a facebook group we could all reach out to sell our items to you!

You have to order your uniform through the school and each brand new uniform is around $65-80. Most of us ordered two since our clinical days were back to back. I know lots of people interested in selling uniforms.

I went ahead and requested to join the FB group also...surely I didn't jinx myself being the #5 Alternate haha. Well even if I did I'll surely get in the winter group (all prereqs will be done).
