BADNAP 2018-19

Published

Anyone else applying for the BADNAP OCCC program to begin this summer? Wonder what GPA will work for acceptance? Mine is about a 3.0 w all preqs complete.

Glad to know somebody else to suffer through the waiting process with! How was the TEAS? I take it Saturday and have been taking practice test after practice test. I am most worried about English and science. Just want the highest score possible.

I don't see why not having govt would be an issue bc it does say you can complete it later and I think even put in the last semester on the schedule if you need to take it. I think you should be fine. What is your degree in?

I think many people who are on the alternative list get in. Seems like I saw a lady who was 23 on the list got in.

That's what I have read too. Seems like that's the norm as well

The Teas was bad for me especially the English section. You have to face your worst enemy, time. The questions themselves are reasonable but time is a challenge. I did it at first and got 68.9, time was my enemy . I repeated today with better time management strategies and got 85.

My degree is in IT. I want to do Nursing then masters in Health informatics, am not interested in a BSN.

Does anyone know if I can work part-time while on this program?

Took my TEAS this morning and got a 92. I'm so relieved! Strongly suggest buying the ATI booklet with the 3 practice tests. I got mine on Amazon for like $25. Very thorough and helped me pass. Now time to fill out the App

Congs. I used the memotrix but I would recommend the ATI manual for those who are yet to take TEAS. It is what I used on the second trial. Good luck on the application.

Dropped my app off today for Summer 2018. Fingers crossed.

I'm turning mine in on Monday! So excited!

It takes about 15 minutes. I thought I was just dropping it off, but they have you meet with someone at Recruitment and Admissions who gives you a checklist, states that they can not answer questions about the application (if you have a question "we'll stop and you can go see an advisor") and then its sealed up in a manila envelope and put in a drop box.

Good to know, thank you for the heads up!
