Anyone else applying for the BADNAP OCCC program to begin this summer? Wonder what GPA will work for acceptance? Mine is about a 3.0 w all preqs complete.

I'm not in the program but you'll be fine! Usually the ones who are not finished get waitlisted. And a 3.0 is good. They take 2.5. With the new cohort, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I am applying, but am also nervous about getting in. I don't know why, but I just found the info on the preference points, so that has scared me. I am now going to take the accuplacer and the TEAS of course. If I get full points on both of those I will have 16 points when I apply. So fingers crossed. My cumulative GPA is like a 3.1 or something like that. Where did you earn your degree from? Have you applied to any other programs?
Wait, are you doing accelerated or traditional?
No I haven't applied anywhere else. I graduated from UCO
Accelerated, looking to do the BADNAP June 2018 entry
Just realized the online web page I was looking at was for the career ladder pathway...ugh there are too many different pages that all look the same!
No wonder I just found it and it was making me panic haha. So we just need our degree and prereqs and the TEAS test right?
Correct. I'm applying for January because I wont be done.
Oh gotcha! It's really awesome that they added that second option. From what I have read on a lot of the other chats on here about the BADNAP tons of people get in off the waitlist. One of them said that they were spot like 12 and they still got in as an alternate. So may be worth applying anyways. What will you be missing?
I can't apply lol. Not taking microbiology until the summer semester. I have two other science classes this semester and I was cramming and taking all 3. But that's not smart.
Yes I'll be done by the time October application period is here. So pretty much a guarantee I'll get in.

I am applying for this program too. I have completed all the prerequisites but American government. I have a GPA around 3.2 and did the Teas today. I am worried because one of the academic advosors told me that I might go on the alternate list because I do not have American govt completed. However, the application instructions say that one can complete American govt after being accepted to the program. Anyone has something to say about this?
