so i finally scheduled my 2nd retake for NCLEX RN
i took it last March. failed. rested for a month.
i got tired of just a bum..
i decided to start SAUNDER's comprehensive. and i completed it!
(which i found really helpful for me, because the 1st time i felt i flunked with the content.)
i was planning to enroll in kaplan online.. just to have the questions..
but my good friend let me borrow her NCSBN acct, to make use of her remaining time, because she passed it already, and got 10 more days!
i find NCSBN review questions really informative.
they are not so easy.. and not so hard. i've been taking down notes of the infos i encounter.
3 more days and the NCXBN acct (of my friend) will expire.. and i feel like i still need to practice alot more questions..
so il go on w/ my plan to enroll in kaplan.
i took kaplan before,(KAPLAN ALONE) but it ddnt help me. yes, their questions are real good. HIGH level questions.
maybe, i should have started w/ the easy ones. before starting kaplan..
but i like their questions, and i really think it ill help me w/ NCLEX because i know NCLEX qs are really way over the top!
my question is... is it ok for me to just enroll in kaplan jus for their questions?
i just want the qtrainers and some qbanks.. just for me to polish up.
but some people say.. i should finish it.. or concentrate on 1 material. or 2.
so im down w/
> SAUNDER's comprehensive - done
>NCSBN - more than half of QS (maybe 600). i wanted to finish all but itl expire in a few days
> KAPLAN qtrainers (im planning to asnwer all of it 1-7), and qbanks (i wont be able to cover everything coz ive already scheduled)
>LA CHarity
------is it bad to mix them all up?
---------and know do i know if im ready?:redbeathe im scared.

I don't think it is a bad idea at all. I used Kaplan and Hurst to prepare. Sometimes just one approach doesn't work for some people so mixing it up is a great idea to study. Good Luck!!

People stick with one review source so prevent confusion when the reviews do not agree. But in that case, you make a choice. The more questions you answer and the more rationales you study, the better prepared you will be .
