Just been informed that my original petitioner has backed out apparently the hospital is having big financial problems and have stopped petitioning foreign nurses but thankfully my recruiter has managed to find me another job so hopefully wont delay too much my move to the US. Such a pain :madface: on one hand but atleast have got something sorted..... I hope

Feeling very despondant re whole thing at the moment, keep worrying about lack of hols in US especailly when i am really tired now and it has only been 10 weeks since last week off!!

Then I worry about sending money back to Uk and if we will earn enough, have to do this cause prior to all this starting got a loan which we wont be able to pay off prior to going.

Work is getting me down here, fed up to back teeth with all the bloody nonsence I have to listen to. Cant go into detail in case anybody reads this :uhoh21:

Sorry to hear you are feeling down at the moment, know how that feels :o I am contemplateing (bad spelling) bank/agency Feeling I need a break from my present job. Knew it was going to be difficult when the 2 new nurses started but didn't realise how much impact it would have on me. Transfer from US to UK money shouldn't be a problem, make sure you keep your account in the UK open and some money in and then wire the money across. Advised by a US bank that wire is the best way to do it. The only down side is the exchange rate. If ever you want to chat on the phone pm me and we can swap numbers :D

I know what you mean about the holiday side of things ... it is such a small amount than what we are used to :chair: ... don't forget that you may be able to take some unpaid leave...perhaps do overtime to cover the cost????

it is a big adventure with both ups and downs because the hum brum of life still has to go on 9differnt country same crap).....but if you don't do it you will always wonder what would have happened.....thats what my hubby says when i question if it is the right thing for the kids.

I agree just had a quick case of nerves, i am sure I will have a hundred more before I get on that plane and go lol :chuckle

Keep note of today's date and see if i have another case of nerves in 26 days time, and if i do I guess I have PMT, and got help us for the next 12 months or more :rotfl:
