I'm student with question:
Woman 29 weeks pregnat with infection on MgSO4 for week.When her water breake on this stage should the baby be taken out?Or should be keept inside longest possibe ?How long baby can stay in infected uterus?Is any general protocol about or every hospital has own ?Any opinions are welcome.

Or if this is an assignment, let us know what you think after reading your textbook. Give us some idea of your understanding and what the choices might be. Then we can give you some feedback on your ideas.

I don't take ob/gyn/peds until this summer, but I'm pretty sure this isn't a Nursing decision anyway.

If they are thinking she has an infection, why have they kept her on mag? That's what I want to know.
Do let us know what you've come up with on your own. Tell us what you think and why, and we are more than willing to point you in the right direction. But someone telling you the answer isn't going to help you think like a nurse.
