Baby Brain?

Published

Is there such a thing as "baby brain"? I have heard women use this as a reason for forgetfulness. Is there a reason for it? I know I feel a bit more forgetful since becoming pregnant.

I didn't think I had preggo brain until one morning I couldn't find my keys...normal enough, except...

They were in the ignition, with the car door open wide into the street. All night long. I am still amazed that it was there in the morning. :smackingf

That is great . . . . thanks for sharing. I have had similar things happen to me.

This made me laugh out loud. I definitely believe pregnancy/motherhood takes a toll on the brain. Since having my second I have a terrible memory and I am totally disorganized. I used to remember every detail about evertyhing. I am actually glad to see this thread because sometimes I am afraid I have a brain tumor or something!

With my last pregnancy I worked night shift. I was in my car in the driveway and couldn't remember if I was getting in my car and going to work, or just pulled up and was coming home. Someone should have taken away my keys with that kid! I have since made a full recovery!:roll
