Hello everyone, 

I am starting this for anyone that is applying Spring 2024 for APU nursing program. Deadline is October 1, 2023. You can post your experience applying, questions about the application and if you get accepted into the nursing program.

Hello All, I was declined as well. I had planned a family trip so I will also be applying for Summer. If anyone can share their personal statement who got accepted to see if it makes a difference. Gods timing is perfect . We will get in when its our time.

I just graduated from APU 2 weeks ago, I was in the upper division transfer program (2+2) program with a mix cohort of LVNS and transfer students. If anyone has any questions feel free to message me, I am happy to help!

I really want to get into this program! Any application/ personal statement tips?  I applied for Spring 2024 and was declined admission. I will be submitting one for Summer and I want to know any tips to help me get accepted.

First of all, don't take it personally, I was lucky to get accepted from the first attempt but I know several of my classmates applied multiple times so don't get discouraged. I think having good grades helps but I think it's more of a randomized selection. As far as application/personal statement tips, if you're open to multiple locations it gives you more of a chance to get accepted, I had only applied to 1 location since the other two were too far. For your personal statement, I think a lot of people make the mistake of going too deep into spirituality and Christian faith thinking that since it's a Christian school that's what they want to hear and it can come across as disingenuous, just talk about yourself what inspired you to become a nurse and why you picked the school.  Don't give up keep applying.

If anyone needs APU  scrubs, I have so many in good condition (previously worn but clean). I am happy to send them to you for free.

Hi everyone! I just submitted my LVN to BSN application for the February 1st deadline. I've been worried that I don't have enough extra curricular to be accepted. But I also saw that APU nursing programs have something like 94% acceptance rate. I'm really nervous because I put all my eggs in this basket.

Hello All, I resubmitted for Summer 2024 as well Good luck all. This will be my second time applying. I only applied for Monrovia only.

Hey there! I applied to Monrovia campus. That was the only campus I chose, I should have applied to a secondary but I'm putting my faith into getting in this one ?? what about you??

if anyone needs APU scurbs please let me know I have several pairs in really good condition and a lab coat (even though you don't really use it so don't buy it) I live in glendale you can come pick it up for free, they're size S and XS I can ship them to you too or drop it off at school (Monrovia Campus). I feel bad throwing them away they're in good condition ?
