Azusa ELM Summer 2020

Published

Hello all,

I have recently submitted my application for the summer 2020 cohort at Azusa not too long ago. I applied to the main campus --Azusa, Inland Empire, and the San Diego campus. I noticed there was not a page created for this cohort so I decided to make one. I just finished taking my last prerequisite course which was research methods. I am anxiously waiting to hear back from them with any news... Will keep you guys updated(: How about the rest of you? I wish you all the best in your nursing journey!

I am interviewing on June 28th at the San Diego campus.

Good luck to everyone!!! ?

Hello everyone ?

I have my interview set for June 24th at the IE campus. For those of you who have already interviewed weather virtually or in persone, how did it go? Do you guys mind sharing some of the questions or how the process went? Thanks in advance!

@wcdream

Hello! I also applied to the IE campus! Congrats and good luck on the interview! I wanted to know when you submitted your application? I'm still, anxiously, awaiting a call for an interview

Thank you! I submitted pretty late like end of May sometime. I wouldn't read too much into it though. I think they just started contacting people.

Hi all,

I have my interview scheduled for tomorrow!

Has anyone else heard from them?

Hi Sabrina, how did you interview go if you don't mind me asking? Any specific questions or things I should prepare for?

Hi guys,

interview was was very relaxed. Nothing to worry about

Hi guys!

I had my interview remotely for IE campus on June 24th. The interview was not stressful at all. I was sent an article a few mins before the interview. I had to summarize the article and state my take on it and send it back 10 mins before the google hangout section. I was asked a few questions, why Azusa?, why do I want to be a nurse?; and she went further in explaining the program and what to expect.

Good luck everyone!

Hi!!

I had my interview at the SD campus. I am so anxious to know whether we will make it or not. Did anyone hear by when we should hear back or a letter in mail if not? Thanks.

Hi everyone,

I applied to the elm program at the main campus in Azusa. Has anyone that applied for that location heard anything back yet? Good luck to all!

I'm also anxiously impatient! My interviewer told me that they would let us know in like 2-3 months, but I spoke with some of the current students, and they told me they got calls and an email about a month after their interview.

Sidenote: Was anyone else's interview weirdly short...? I felt like mine was shorter than I expected it to be, so I wasn't sure if they're all that way, and I'm just reading to much into it haha

My Interview was very quick too. I was asked why Azusa and why Nursing. I was soo nervous. Than read an article and summarized it in a paragraph... at that point I felt like throwing up! I have not heard from them:/

Yes, mine was extremely short as well. It was a little weird because I could not determine if I did well or not ?
