AZ Nurse-Patient Ratio Paper Help!

Hi everyone,

I am researching Nurse to patient ratios for a project I must do in one of my college classes :bugeyes: The sections are current National assessment, Legislative movements in other states, then Arizona legislative movement. I can easily find information on the issue nationally, I will pull information about the current bills being proposed to the House for the legislative movements in other states, but I am having the hardest time pulling up information for Arizona! I cannot find much information on nurse to patient ratio specifically for the state of Arizona, like facts about what the ratio is and the issue here. Does anyone know any good articles or places to get information??!

To my knowledge, there are no ratio laws in AZ. ICU is generally 1:2 and that seems to be the only standard rule. Even that can vary - had 3 last week.

Generally, the for-profit hospitals have the worst pt ratios.
