just wanted to share. goodnight everyone:)

I'm hanging on by my fingernails... one more year... hope I live that long, the job is killing me, but, at 61, I'm pretty well stuck.. I am so looking forward to the goodbye on this... Wish you well in all you do..

The moment I decided that I would definitely be putting in my 2 week notice, the ear-to-ear grin appeared almost instantly! I had been doing per diem at a hospital, while being a full time school nurse. The hospital was getting so out of hand, that even doing my 2 shifts a month were wearing me down. I would start dreading those shifts a week ahead of time. My husband was so happy when I quit the hospital. It was a complete, instant attitude adjustment for me. LOL

Meanwhile, I was loving my school nurse job. So, it was a very easy "out" for me. I simply told the hospital that I enjoyed my time there, but that doing both jobs was proving to be too much. I also have 2 young children at home. So, I left on "good terms". Not that I'd ever go back. I think I'd become a bag lady before subjecting myself to that again!

Best wishes to you! :)

I imagined it would be better on Sunday and IT WAS! I took off my badge, handed over my keys and walked out knowing I never have to go back to that hell-hole again. Never again do I have to wake up at 5am on a holiday to go to work. Never again do I have to be awake for 24 hours in a row because of work. I'm SO excited!
