U.S.A. Texas

Anyone out there who would like to commiserate about waiting anxiously to be accepted to the ACC ADN program in the fall 2012 semester?

Have you received your petition for Nursing skills yet? Pre-reqs and co-reqs completed?

Hope to hear from some of you (or all) soon!

Hang in there, guys. I know how you feel. It's so hard to judge how they do things from one cycle to the next, but it will happen. Don't lose faith. :) I had to apply three times to finally get an acceptance letter. I was so sure that I would get in last cycle with a 55.3, but it didn't happen. They might accept more students if more spots come open, so not all hope is lost.

@ Brooke.ACC - I got an acceptance letter. A friend of mine from pre-reqs and I plan to practice at Eastview this summer. I took Nursing Skills last fall, so I have to really brush up on stuff.

What campus were you hoping for for Level 1? I'm hoping I get my first choice at CEC.

Sorry to hear that you guys did not get in this time around. You will get there!!

I got an acceptance letter as well. I have already accepted and gave my campus preferences, do you guys know when we find out which one we will be placed into?

I am hoping for Hybrid, CEC second. Good luck!!

@ hopefulnursestdnt - On my acceptance letter, it said that they were going to send an email on June 18, 2012 with instructions for orientation, background checks, registration, health forms, and supplies. It also says they will notify us of placement (EVC, CEC, Hybrid, or RR) at that time.

I finally had time to actually sit down and read the acceptance email a bit closer and see that we will not know till around June 18th. Geez, more waiting!!

Thank you for your reply @Austin404.

I got accepted as well - sorry to all those who did not!

My first and second choice is Hybrid and CEC as well. Hope we don't have to wait too long to find out what we are placed in. I should be spending some time this summer at EVC to refresh. My nursing skills class was last Fall so it's been nearly a year since my last skills check-off. Eeee!

HEY!!

My first choice was hybrid, RR, CEC, then EVC!

I just took nursing skills this past semester but I definitely need to brush up on skills also, especially all those little details! I am willing to meet up anytime! I've never actually been to the EVC skills labs but I am in love with the ones at round rock!!

I am sooo nervous ya'll!! I will be either going PRN or officially quitting my job! This is IT!!!

I will be at EVC for my Nursing Skills in July so I would love to meet up for some prep time anytime as well!!

I am hoping for Hybrid so that I can still work a couple of days a week. I will just have to wait and see!!

I do hope so!! I have to plan for work.

I've never actually been to the ones in Round Rock. I've heard they are really nice. The Eastview labs are older, but still nice. I'm nervous as well. So much to catch up on and do this summer.

Does anyone know what the official cutoff score was for this cycle? I'm curious.

No letter here!!!! I really thought I was in this time. I have taken nursing skills. This is my second application and I was applying with a 57.6. I ranked 138, if that gives anyone else information about how this round went. I am really disappointed, but good luck to all who did get in :yelclap:
