Austin Community College (ACC) Hospitals

Published

I'm aware that ACC nursing students rotate at Dell's Children Hospital and at St David's Regional Medical Center in Round Rock.

Where else might be be assigned?

Thanks and Happy New Year,

I know they go to The State Hospital, Seton Shoal Creek, Seton Main, St. Davids South Austin Hospital, Central Texas Medical Center in Hays County, North Austin Medical Center, and I believe once the Round Rock campus opens in Fall 2010, they are adding the new Seton Williamson and Scott and White possibly.

Thanks--looks like I'll be driving all around the Metro area with 8 campuses and all these hospitals as a possibility.

Time to get a car that gets good mileage.

Happy New Year

There are a bunch, heart hospital, brack, ASH, shoal creek, north austin, south austin, TNR, seton main, seton north west, dell, st david's downtown, and there is one in san marcos. not sure of the others. I have had two rotations at south austin, one at seton main, one at ASH, one at Dell, and one at Brackenridge (where I work). my level 4 clinicals will also be at brack. you will get a lot of different ones by the time its over. I think I counted up the clinical hours and you will have just over 700 hours. Good luck and let me know if there is anything that you need that I can help with.
