Aurora Hiring Process

Published

Hello Everyone,

Recently I had a job interview with Aurora for a RN position. The interview went really well, and I also completed a job shadow as well. I have not heard anything since. I emailed the manager as a follow up and also the human resources person, but still nothing. Can anyone shed some light on the hiring process for me? I appreciate it!

Well I checked on the website today and the application no longer says "in process" it says "application review completed". So thats the end of that. Im applying all over, had the career center at the university re-do my resume and cover letter, and I cant get any interviews. This is with 4 years of CNA experience. Im baffled.

That's not necessarily true. The job I was offered said "Application Review Completed" under status.

I've only seen review complete if I wasn't chosen.

And new grad RN positions take a long time, not as bad as many places but still not easy in this area. I've called in A LOT of favors.

Aurora job fair two weeks ago, interview last Wed and called today with the offer! My references were done from a previous interview in February so that helped as well.

Good to know once the references are done once they dont have to be done again. I just checked the site and a different application has moved from "Received" to "In process" . I had one for Froedtert also be moved from receieved to "In review" so Im hoping for a call soon. Congrats on the job!!!!!

I gave had some froedtert ones under review for 2+ months. It is annoying.

Other interviews I did with Aurora it was 2-4 weeks after submitting an application and CSM was about 3 weeks.

A friend of mine that works at Froetdert now said it took her 6 months from application to getting hired as a nurse. Seems they really take their time. LOL

After receiving paper work, setting up my physical/drug screen, etc my application status now says "WELCOME TO AURORA". That's pretty nice to see!
