St Francis is Covenant, and I don't know how, or if, Covenant utilizes CRNA's, if they do at all. I worked at St Joe's for five years and I don't recall there being any there. Lots of anesthesia residents, but no CRNA's. I know that Waukesha Memorial and Community Memorial did at one time. Give one of those a call.
Good Luck to you!
HiI'm soon to be a nursing student in Milwaukee this fall. I called Aurora Sinai for shadowing experiences of a CRNA. The lady I talked to said that Sinai no longer "uses" nurse anesthetists, nor does St. Francis and another Aurora hospital in the area!
I'm confused :imbar so have these hospitals stopped doing surgeries or are they using AAs and anesthesiologists. I just don't understand how a hospital cannot have any nurse anesthetists. Can anyone fill me in?
