Hi all! Has anyone heard of this agency? They seem friendly and efficient through the application process & haven't tried to interest me in Timbuktu contracts, they listened to where I wanted to go & are finding me opportunities there.
Horrible! I am on my first assignment with them now and am so miserable! Communication is horrific - they call several times a day, all different recruiters with the same questions, and I have more than 3 account managers! The reimbursement is terrible - no travel reimbursement, no parking reimbursement, and no benefits. I had a really bad patient situation and called my account manager who told me to bad she didn't care. They lie constantly about their policies - one agent will say yes the other will say no - and then she had the audicity to tell me I made it up! The pushed my assignment back three times because they kept 'losing my paperwork' or 'couldn't get in touch with the hospital.' Please think twice before you take an assignment with them! I wish I would have read some reviews before I got myself into this.
I see this is an old thread but am going to respond anyway. I have been with Aureus for 2 years. I get reimbursed TO and FROM each assignment, even if I go home in between for a week or two before taking a new assignment. I have one recruiter for each assignment. I check in each week like I agreed to do when I contrated with them. My pay is usually over $30.00 an hour and I am provided a furnished apartment. NO I AM NOT a recruiter!! Feel free to PM me if you want information.

BC/BS out of OK.. These small companies do the best for their employees.
And I've found just the opposite more companies are providing insurance because nurses like me won't work for them . NO insurance=No work for them.
The same goes for vacation. Companies are now starting to offer that too.
Albeit only one week. Forever. Right now. I think that will change too.
Good luck.
Everything is negotiable..lol
