DNP is a degree. You can choose the concentration with it. i.e for you, it would be a DNP-CRNA. For new MSN-CNL graduates, most graduate schools want at least 2 years of experience, while AU doesn't. Moreover, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) advocates for more DNP, hoping to replace the retiring workforce in academia in the future... Would a DNP be necessary? It depends on your future goals. (btw, MSN-prepared APRNs have the same scope of practice as DNP grads, at least in GA)

I wish we were eligible for the post masters certificates, but it looks like you have to be an APRN for those...I’ve seen other programs where it looks like you don’t have to be an APRN and they’re usually 2 years, basically a second masters degree.
Congrats. Which campus?

Did you check to see if your a current student? I used the hyperlink from a previous post. I have a student ID. Let me know if you do to because I haven’t received any communication for the CNL program.

They gave me a student ID as soon as I submitted my application. I think everyone gets one.
Klay, mine used to say that. I contacted Augusta and they said I needed a letter from my current school that says I’m a student and outlines that I plan on taking xyz classes in the next couple semesters. I recommend contacting the registrars office or school counselor at your current school and ask them to draft a letter to Augusta admissions. They can send it over email. Once my letter was in, my status changed to under review on a Thursday, then decision letter in mail on a Friday, then I got the letter the following Thursday or Friday. Good luck!
