  1. DNP is a degree. You can choose the concentration with it. i.e for you, it would be a DNP-CRNA. For new MSN-CNL graduates, most graduate schools want at least 2 years of experience, while AU doesn't. Moreover, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) advocates for more DNP, hoping to replace the retiring workforce in academia in the future... Would a DNP be necessary? It depends on your future goals. (btw, MSN-prepared APRNs have the same scope of practice as DNP grads, at least in GA) Congrats. Which campus?
  2. It depends. If you are a former AU student, then you have the same ID. But it looks promising that they assign an ID. The only confirmation is through snail-mail. Does anyone interest in the DNP as well? It is only 4 years for a part-timer....
  3. Hey I am a current CNL student. I live an hour away from Athens and I have been commuting since day 1. It is tough but doable.
  4. Hello current CNL student here. You can check your status on this website: https://webapps.augusta.edu/pls/apex/f?p=161:LOGIN:
  5. Hello there. If it is a PRN position, 4 days a month, then it is doable for the first semester. However, I would be cautious about it. The first semester is your 4.0 semester. Then, mental health or med-surg (2nd semester) might bring the GPA down. Also, there are so many things that are going on with this program. The last thing you want is to deal with work and school at the same time. As Moscrows stated, last minute schedule changes do occur. The F- word (flexible) is your friend. However, everyone has a different situation. And I can't speak for everyone.
  6. Emily is no longer with AU. You should email [email protected].
  7. Admission office- (706) 737-1632
  8. Hi NurseCook321, You can call the admission office. Give them your student ID and ask them about your status. You can also ask them for a school email too.
  9. Hi Bekora. Congrats! I'm a current student for this year. Feel free to dm me if you have any questions. There is a facebook page for your class. There are several of my colleagues up there.
  10. My friend applied as of today. There are still available seats on both campuses. Good luck! And congrats to those got accepted.
  11. You found it! LOL. And DUO is annoying!
  12. Np. I remember that they want them before school starts. You will have plenty of time to get them done.
  13. Congrats. That is a good sign. They don't want you to spend $120 on the background check unless you're admitted and about to start. Someone is gonna go dt tonight!!!!! XD
