Augusta University / GRU / MCG CRNA 2018 applicants

Is anyone applying to Augusta University's CRNA doctorate program? I'm interested to keep up with timelines since we wouldn't start for over another year.

I feel like everyone who didn't get in is an alternate. They said they don't assign numbers if someone declines their spot, they go back to their list, look at their notes from the interview and then they pick 3 alternates. From then they said its out of their hands because some other graduate committee picks someone from the three. Their process of selecting alternates is definitely a grey area.

4.0 GPA/ 310 GRE/ 2 y ICU Exp. good luck to alternates. From what was said in interviews, don't be discouraged by being on alternate list!

Have any other alternates heard from Augusta? I have no idea what the process looks like?

Did you get a phone call/letter to let you know you were in consideration? Also did they tell you your place

in line?

I have applied for the January 2019 cohort at Augusta University for their CRNA program

Does anyone have any tips or recommendations on the application process

I have already submitted my application through nursing CAS and completed the supplemental application!

Also how much do they weight the GRE score?

I worked in critical care for almost 6 years now and am a board certified Nurse Practitioner but my dream has been to go to CRNA school and now I have the opportunity and confidence to apply to the program! I graduated from NYU with high honors with my BSN and MSN!
