  1. Hi, I plan to take the PMHNP boards in March 2023 and was hoping to get some advice in what everyone felt was the best study tools for 2 months. I have reviewed the entire purple book and did the QI questions for ANCC. Are there any other test banks that people have found very beneficial. Thank you!
  2. I have applied for the January 2019 cohort at Augusta University for their CRNA program Does anyone have any tips or recommendations on the application process I have already submitted my application through nursing CAS and completed the supplemental application! Thanks Also how much do they weight the GRE score? I worked in critical care for almost 6 years now and am a board certified Nurse Practitioner but my dream has been to go to CRNA school and now I have the opportunity and confidence to apply to the program! I graduated from NYU with high honors with my BSN and MSN!
  3. Hi everyone I've applied to the CRNA program at Emory for 2019 and am very nervous! I am current a board certified nurse practitioner, but always wanted to go to nurse anesthesia school, that was the reason I went to RN school to begin with but feel like I didn't have the confidence to apply in the past, and life got in the way! But now I have the opportunity to apply and am very excited! for anyone that's in the program, can you tell me a little about expectation for the program and how to prepare for the interview? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! THANKS
  4. Hi, I am currently a FNP but have been working in Urgent Care settings ever since I passed the boards. I always wanted to go to CRNA school but know how competitive it is and thought it would be good idea to do my NP like someone said, as a safety net, just in case. I am starting to work part time in the ICU as an RN and am working full time as an NP. I am planning on applying for the 2016-2017 cohort to schools. I have heard that many schools ask why did you do your NP if you wanted to be a CRNA, or whats the reason for the switch? Has anyone heard any good answers to this. In my personal experience I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with patients as an NP but have also had the opportunity to shadow a CRNA and just feel that I could be honest and say it is very competitive and when I applied to an NP program I got in and wanted to complete something I started, which actually helped me gain the confidence to work under pressure and know that I am able to provide beneficial patient care. Has anyone been through this? If so, what did you say during the interview?
