Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Augusta Campus for the Fall of 2020 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. You don't have to share your stats if you don't want to, share whatever you're comfortable with. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! Hey guys, I got waitlisted for the Fall program back in December. I called Shannon recently, and she said people on the waitlist can hear anything between now and July-August. The wait is stressing me out! Is anyone else on the waitlist, and have you heard anything yet?

So my status just changed today that the decision was made but I have not received an email yet. I had some questions for people who have gotten their letters already:

1) It says I need a background consent form. Does that usually mean you're accepted?

2) How long has it taken for you guys to get the email after your status was changed?

You may get an email tomorrow. If it asked about background consent form that means you got accepted. My friend was in the same situation and got an email the next day.

I got mine the same day. They added the background consent and then sent the email. You won’t get a hard copy letter. My email came around 6 in the evening.

I requested the Athens campus, but they have me listed under the main campus. Does anyone know if they are able to switch your campus once you're accepted?

Just got my offer letter!! So excited! I wanted to ask again if anyone had experience trying to switch campuses? Also does anyone know if fall classes will be on campus or online (because of the COVID stuff)?

I’m not sure about switching campuses. But I think they are trying to be back on campus but we won’t really know until July. It’s a possibility it could be online though.

How are they doing classes/labs/clinical for Summer classes?

They are doing their classes online. They are not able to go to the hospitals.

So I have decided to go to the Augusta campus. For anyone who is on the alternate/waiting list for Athens, all the spots have been filled and Sarah Thomas said they generally do not see any movement in terms of people giving up their seats. With that being said, are there any girls who are doing the nursing program that have an extra room or even a couch that would be open to having someone stay 1 night a week (Monday nights)? I would pay and I will literally only be there to change clothes and sleep once per week since I live in Atlanta. If so let me know!

Anyone in need of roommates? I want to rent a place with 2 or 3 other girls from the nursing program but I dont know anyone yet.
