Augusta University BSN Summer/Fall 2020

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Augusta Campus for the Fall of 2020 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. You don't have to share your stats if you don't want to, share whatever you're comfortable with. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! Good luck everyone, and I hope I see you guys next fall!

I'm pretty positive it's due by the end of May.

For those doing Summer entry, have y'all heard anything from ------------------------------- regarding the drug tests?

You need to go to Precheck.com and find Augusta University. You can pay for your background check and drug test on there. Mine was around 90.00. They accidentally sent me that when they sent my admission letter for Fall when it should have been Summer, and I kept it.

Candidate.precheck.com/studentcheck and search Augusta University and BSN and select your background and drug test. You can pick the nearest location near you to do your drug test.

I haven’t heard anymore about that. She sent out an email and said to call if you were having issues with getting them. You could also try Student Health if you live in Augusta. They are still seeing people.

I just got an email about updated orientation and uniforms. I haven’t looked at it yet, but it should have come to your AU email.

No problem. They have canceled the in person orientation at AU, but we will have a virtual one. If you are transferring then you have to go to the full orientation. If you have attended one in the last three years, you can skip the school part and just do the nursing part which starts at one. I will be coming at one. Not sure how that will go due to the Corona but I know we will have a virtual session with the ABSN Dept April 27th starting at 1pm. You also need to have your lab coat ordered by 4/27. They have uploaded a lot of information up there about clinicals and checklists and everything.
