Augusta University BSN Summer/Fall 2020

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Augusta Campus for the Fall of 2020 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. I was wondering if anyone is around 5'4 and 135lbs who has ordered a Nursing coat and what size did you get? There is not a size chart for the Nursing Lab Coats and I contacted the JagStore. The lady said there is no size chart and that if I take a guesstimate of my coat and get it embroidered, I will not be able to return it. ?

I’m 5’6 and 135 lbs and I ordered a Small- but that was just a guess. I’ll let you know when I get it in if it fits!

So for anyone still waiting to hear back for the Fall Semester, I spoke with someone today and he said that the acceptance letters should be going out this week. Has anyone heard about fall semester recently?

We May not hear anything until July. One of my classes runs too late so I now have to do the regular BSN instead of Accelerated and we just started getting info for it in the last week or two so I wouldn’t think we’ll hear anything until about a month before.

Also, when I tried to order my lab coat, this popped up as a required field but I don't live in Augusta. Are we just supposed to choose pick up at Health Sciences Campus anyway, and then it'll still ship to our homes?

Hey, there should be an 3rd option to ship to your house. Also if you have access to the orientation page there is a Summer 2020 checklist. I don’t think there is anything else that needs to be purchased by April 27th but I recommend double checking what I say!

I got my new admission letter and contract yesterday, so you may be hearing soon. For the Summer students, as far as I could see before I dropped, your lab coat is all your need by April 27. Everything else is May 8 or May 11th like your CPR, final grades, etc. There is a place for you to upload it so they can see it like an assignment and you will have some stuff to fill out about where you want to work after, clinical preferences, etc. You have to fill it out and submit it as well.
