I don't see a group yet started for admission to the Fall 2018's Augusta U MSN/CNL program. I have read through the forum of the Fall 2017 group and it seems to have been very informative!
I am excited once this group starts getting some members, so we can discuss the process (and adventure?!) of applying and finishing pre-reqs!
I am a second career applicant who works full time as an office assistant to two MDs and 1 BSN now. I have previously been a CNA and worked as a PCT in a small rural hospital on the med/surg floor, but then went on to get a BA in English from UGA. After having been an assistant for 4 years and out of school for quite a few more, I am excited about starting this RN program and still question why I didn't do this from the beginning :-) Oh well, I feel I have a lot of real world experience now and I am a much better learner then before! I have four pre-reqs left. A&P 1 and 2, Microbiology, and Human Development. I am planning on trying to CLEP the Human Development course this fall. Currently in the waiting process for acceptance into the Perimeter Campus of Georgia State University to start the other courses.
Looking forward to talking with all of you!
Hey guys, I have quick question. Every time I check the webpage for the Augusta University application check, it just says my application is incomplete. It says it is missing GRE scores, but it shows that I took the MAT, as well as all other documents that are needed? I was wondering if anyone else is encountering this as well?
I was informed that this is not an accurate representation of your application status. You should receive an email from this informing you of receipt of your application as well as prerequisites completed. After the initiation of NursingCAS they do not update that webpage.
Hey everyone! I wanted to give you a timeline of my application process for Augusta Campus:-Applied with References Submitted/Transcript Submitted 09/14/17
-Interview Notification 10/11/17
-Interview 10/20/17
-Application Status Check to Decision Made on 11/2/17
-Decision Letter Received 11/7/17
Needless to say, I have been accepted to the Augusta Campus! I am overwhelmed with excitement! I came into this application process skeptical and that they would never choose me because I considered my Overall GPA (3.10) as uncompetitive. DO NOT doubt yourselves! My prayers are with everyone applying and that you continue to chase your passion and dreams!
Congratulations!!! If you do not mind me asking, what was your GRE/MAT score?
Hey Guys! I just got my acceptance letter today for the Athens campus! According to my NursingCas, my GPA was a 3.1, but my GPA is actually a 3.29 because of other classes I had to retake for my degree. I interviewed in Athens on 10/20/17 and my letter came today! My GRE score was a 297, and I have been working in acute care hospitals for about four and a half years. I'm beyond excited to start next fall! Good luck to everyone else applying!
Hey guys! I got my acceptance to the Augusta Campus earlier this week and figured I might as well follow suit and post my stats. Also, if anybody has questions pertaining to the application process, etc... I am more than happy to help!

Hello cmknig9196!
Congrats! Just wanted to ask if you received an email alert when your status changed to "Decision Made". I was interviewed at Athens campus as well. As my application was not complete(missing one document), Emily reached out to me the Monday after the interview. I added that the next day. My status showed "Ready for Review". I am getting concerned that I was rejected. I do hope we can be classmates next fall. Congrats again!!
Hey jasminega!
They do not notify you by email, as you will have to check the website itself. (I did this almost every day three weeks after my interview lol) Login
It really is dependent upon what day you were interviewed though, and if your application was reviewed during their once-a-month meeting. I had my interview on October 20th and asked when a decision will be made, and was told that I should know in a few months. I believe the only reason they said this, though, was because if they say "a few weeks", then they may get bombarded with emails and calls from students who had waited "a few weeks". Honestly waiting for that decision was one of the most stressful times, so I understand the feeling! Good luck and I hope you get your acceptance soon!
I never received an email about my application status changing to "Decision Made." I received an email that my application was under review, but I never received an email when they made a decision. I only got a letter in the mail. The date on my acceptance letter is 11/2, so I'm just guessing that's when they made the decision. Best of luck to you!

Oh okay, I just checked mine (because I have had issues in the past with that page popping up but I can finally see it). Mine also says "incomplete" and that I am missing transcripts even though I submitted them through NursingCAS. From what I have gathered from pervious forums, the supplemental application status check is not frequently updated and an "incomplete" is nothing really to worry about especially if it is showing up that you took the MAT. If you are still concerned, I know that people have emailed Emily in the past just to double check. But I wouldn't worry too much about it saying incomplete as long as you've submitted everything because I've been invited for an interview even though my status shows up as "incomplete".
