Taking my exam August 3! I'm terrified to say the least! Used Virtual ATI and got the greenlight from my tutor... BUT I still dont feel 100% Ready. I'm sure this is normal?...?

We've done our part, well, still doing our part, let GOD take us to the promise He has for us... I'll be praying for us!!

They say you can never feel 100% ready, we can never know everything... :)

Relax, and take it in, we are going to PASS.. :)

hi there I will be taking my test on august 16...I am so nervous too...I become more pressured reading some of the experiences here that they stopped at 75 and got the good pop up I notice that most of them used Kaplan...I cant afford Kaplan live review nor the Q bank so Im doing my best studying by myself along with materials I have a long time ago...It's my 1st time taking this exam and I am praying it will be the last...

It's kinda weird but I am also feeling excited about the exam...hahahaha....I dont know, I always feel giddy when I think of myself passing the exam and finally being able to have a rest from studying..I think Im losing my mind already hahahahaha....I try to rub it off because of course I can never tell if I pass or not...But let's all get excited cause were nearing one step ahead of becoming a USRN...Good luck to all of us :)

:D I know the feeling... I am using Saunders 4th Ed and now La Charity for the prioritization stuff.. I have heard a lot about Kaplan, but different reactions from each one.. I also cannot afford to enroll into a review class, thus, I am utilizing what I have here..

Its been a long journey, and the time is nearing, but I don't feel as if its a time of doom, but instead a time to step up and claim what GOD calls us to be... :)

Like you, i feel like its the time when we will be greeted with the GREAT letters R and N... haha...

You've got time, study hard, and pray... :)

remember to complement with random facts, file with 265+ pages of tips and info including infection control mnemonics, this is place at “anyoone up for random fact throwing??” on the top of the nclex forums, i think is up to page 380’s, some.

First of all, you all should be proud that you have made it this far. Don't psych yourself out and try to relax.

I just took mine on Thursday...it cut me off at 85 questions. I just got my results today and i PASSED!

To prepare, i just used my reviews & rationales book ( i think its lippincott?) and the saunders CD. That's all. No kaplan courses or expensive websites/programs. I did study the night before, but mainly lab values. I was getting really scared because I was getting on average 66% on a lot of the practice questions these last few days. On the actual NCLEX-PN, i felt that the questions i received were surprisingly less difficult. KNOW YOUR LAB VALUES!! i cant stress this enough!

Get a good night's sleep, eat breakfast, and most importantly, Believe in yourself! i will keep you all in my prayers, and good luck! you will do great!

THIS IS A GODSEND, ABSOLUTELY NO FLUFF, GUIDE ON HOW TO READ NCLEX QUESTIONS!!! If you spend this small amount on this ebook, you DO NOT have to spend any unneeded time or money on NCLEX review. I know I took the NCLEX and 80% of the test is about how to read the question and choose the answer they want.
