I was offered a job with a home health agency that pays very well for FL, with great benefits. The problem is I am jumping through hoops! They loved me and offered me the job right away, but I told them I had a misdomeanor reckless driving that was an isolated incident,when I was out with some docs of all things, and they said it should be fine, but it has been over a week and I have 3 kids to feed and shelter. Has anyone been turned down for something like this? I am in FL. Thanks

Worked for MMH twice, the WORST politics I have ever incountered! Gave up $40/hr I hated it so much. Of course had I realized the lack of work I would have stuck it out. They have to pay more to get people to work there!

Holy!!!!! Bradenton!!!!!! 6years experience in multiple specialties and i have been doing crappy prn work for 2 years! There is nothing! I wish i would have chosen a completely different career!!!!!!!

I am not a "user" and I refused a test on mere morals. I am a float nurse who normally gets along with everyone, but was sent to the psych floor a where I worked with women who for some reason had it in for me. I believe it began when the doc I date visited me on the floor, but they took a handful of minor instances, such as using the bathroom often (i was on my period) and went to the supervisor who called me in and asked me to take a test. I was so appalled I just walked out. I may lose my license for this, and yes, in hindsight it was a very stupid decision, but it had absolutly NOTHING to do with me thinking for a second I would test positve it was because I was angry. So when people question you about why you wouldn't submit if you were innocent don't worry I completely understand. Until you are put in that position you don't know how you will react.

I can see th rational behind them, and agree it's a good thing to teach in level 1, but we spend soooo much time on them still any barely get any (if any) instruction in critical clinical skills.
