August 2013 LPN Program Atlantic Sheridan Mcfatter Tech

Hello, is anyone starting the August or other upcoming LPN programs at any of the South FL tech schools (Sheridan, McFatter, or Atlantic)? How is the registration progress going? TEAS testing and so forth? I am aiming for the August program at Atlantic, so far have only completed the TABE which I passed, have to go in and speak with a counselor and discuss TEAS testing next.

For anyone starting block 1 here I truly hope your 1st block goes better than ours. To say it was a disaster and a completely uncoordinated mess would be an understatement.

Block 1 is a breeze. Use your study guides from the publisher, use the online evolve post-tests, and the questions in the back of the chapter. The chapter summaries are very helpful too. Thankfully block 1 was very "straight from the book" so having a less than stellar lecture throughout the week wasn't horribly detrimental. Do NOT miss exams. You do NOT want a makeup exam.

Hi guys. I received the acceptance letter from Mcfatter :). Is anybody else starting there in january???

I need help deciding which location to attend. I'd be in the davie area so McFatter and sheridan would be closer, but I've heard good things about atlantic. What are your thoughts?

So Tuesday attended the LPN Orientation and got my folder to complete everything. Everything is closed Monday due to Memorial Day so will be going to do background/fingerprinting, drug test, physical and everything else on Tuesday. Still have to take TEAS V test
