Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
Pre admission session on June 30 at Central Campus. Does that mean I will be attending Central? I would like to attend North because it's closer to my house. Can someone please clarify..?
No, it doesn't mean you'll attend Central. This orientation is just to give us information about the program, etc. You'll choose your campus later on.
Uh!!! Am I the only one having my orientation at 1:00pm? Well, anyway Congrats to all of you guys. I hope I'm gonna meet some of you at North campus. Does everybody agree with the facebook page for us august 2014 students? If yes, lemme know I can launch it or is it to soon? lol...
Lol nope you're not the only one I'm in that group too...but I'm going to south and from the looks of it I'm the only one on this thread that is lol :-(
Thanks so much for the link. The information definitely helps. Anyone going to order the Perry and Potter book early and start reading ahead?
I've been searching many threads from the past, found a post that I thought would be helpful: https://allnurses.com/nursing-student-assistance/my-guide-making-593251.htmlJust remember what works for one might not work for all, I just found these to be great tips!

No problem! I bought the 7th edition text off amazon. Hope this edition is good enough just to start reading ahead, I'll buy the updated version later.
