Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
Where are the North campus students? I'd really like to see how it's going for them.. Still trying to figure out if I want to stick with North or go to Central instead...
Hi I go to North. Honestly I can't complain. Nothing like the horror stories you hear. Stay on top of your reading and you're fine. The chapters are not that long. I read before school started and so far there's been very little I've had to read additionally. Dress code, make up, jewelry has not been enforced. Only mentioned for hospital days. I hear the stories and I am very happy with my decision to go to north.
Hi all! Im a potential Nursing Jan 2015 student, and Im wondering about the schedule. Do you get an breaks in between the semesters? Summer brea? Spring? My family lives out of the country so id like to know beforehand if we get any time off. Thanks guys! =)
You'd have to look at your schedule because it depends. For example, I started last May. Spent summer in classes. Fall, classes. Winter break. Winter classes. Half summer break. Start classes in late summer. One week break. Start Fall classes. Graduate December.
Your first summer will not be off. Your second summer may be off and even then, it's not the whole summer.
Check your schedule when you get it because they may differ. :)
Thank u! IM just glad to know we get breaks lol, that would be really tough without. Thanks again, I will see how it goes for January term. All the best!
