Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

I am almost there. For the online background check... Do I print out that seven pages 'result summary?'

No olkan' just the confirmation page. They do not want to see all your personal stuff they just want that one page

Ok, thanks. My summer classes are over. I finally have time to get those things done. This place is great; it's by far my favorite place online. I am hoping this thread will be as active during the program.

Hey everyone. I am selling two polo shirts, two complete uniform, a jacket( all size S), success book, maths book, drug book and blood pressure cuff. Let me know if you guys are interested. Serious people only.

Omg I am so upset :( I went to dr.365 in plantation and they never told me that I would have a separate bill besides the bill that I paid at their office. Received a bill from the lab in quest diagnostics for $475. I was never informed of such a thing before; I don't have insurance:cry: ! Did this happen to anyone else?

Whoa thats insane. Did they explain what the bill is for? Did you call them or go in? I would 'cause i dont have insurance either but i never got a bill from them outside of the money i paid in office

I know I'm so upset, I was told that this is from the lab were they sent the titers, and that whatever fee the lab charges is separate from their office! I just recovered it today in the mail.

I hope I don't receive such bill. The titers were pretty expensive. My titers along add up to $150. I would assume it also covers the cost of the lab. They explained to me if I test positive, I will have to take the shots. They told me they don't accept insurance? If this happens to me, I'll be screwed.

Since the Quest is the one that billed you, they should accept insurance right? I do have insurance so I should be fine. By the way, why did I even go to Doctors 365? I could just go to any place that accepts insurance?

Go to a dr that takes insurance. Any dr is fine

I know I called around to several drs and they ALL said they didn't do titers or immunizations. I was so upset because I have insurance and it seemed like it didnt matter! What Dr doesnt do titer?! Its simply drawing blood and sending it to the lab?! Only after I conceded and paid drs365 did i find out i could have gone directly to quest or whatever lab my insurance used to get it done, HOWEVER i still needed a referral to go there and getting an appointment with my dr in time for the school deadline was gonna take too long.

I seriously think they need to streamline this process a little better. Why not have a day or days set up where all titers and background check info can be done at the school by a representative from each place we need to get stuff done at? It would be so much simpler to spend a day at school to get background checks done and titers and then return for the second half when the lab results are back to make copies and get whatever shots will be needed. I know it would probably take some planning but they could at least try. Also they should include this in the tuition as well. A simple fee attached to tuition for this purpose would be way easier. I guess I see this as trial number one: How bad do you really want to get in? Perhaps thats why its set up this way, idk its just annoying.

If anyone calls dr.365 please let me know what they say about all this!
