U.S.A. Maryland

Has anyone applied to the board recently? How long did it take you to receive your att after sending in all your paperwork? Also is it ok to submit the fingerpirnts before your application is sent in??

thanks

Elise

i grad from a PA school took my NCLEX in PA and got my PA lisc moved to MD and brought my info to BON for MD and had my fingerprints receipts from CJIS (which is about 10 buildings up shopping center from BON) and the $ for my lisc and got my temp MD RN that day and they will mail me my perm MD lisc. it was well worth the $ then to wait to have MD BON get my ATT stuff.

I'm sure it was;). Pa only charges $35 for the license if you went to school here. I think someone on this board said it take 2 1/2 months for the md license by endorsement. I did speak to a nurse recruiter who said it wasn't true and that one could get the temp license quick enough. it's the perm license that takes time and even with that, you can apply for extension.

Thanks for letting us know. i prolly shouda done the same but i didn't want to take my chances.

if you don't mind me asking, when does your pa license expire?

I turned my paperwork in over a month ago and still have not received a number..they sure cashed my check though!! Some people said they got theirs in a week!!:uhoh3: Should I worry? Do they said the number before your school sends your transcripts??
