Hello I am also very interested in this thread. I hope somebody will enlighten me and push me to take this offer. I just want if someone was treated fairly by this company. One thing more, were there nurses last year who fled to the US through a HIB working visa? coz I have this theory that since retrogression has been long running, some companies have been arguing that this can be taken as route to nurses. I mean if I will be denied here, I won't be that really sad coz they are paying for everything and I will not shell out even a single cent. I'm really confused so i hope you can help me.

Hello fellow nurses! Unfortunately, after two weeks and so of researching, I haven’t found any solid proof of their Philippine venture (recruitment of Pinoy nurses). researched in yahoo page: only websites where I found them were: atlasrehabilitation.com (of course), ptforum, allnurses, community.nurses.com. almost all the threads were just asking and not answering. The pt forum had 2 threads that attested to the authenticity of their sponsorship and offers. Then again, I could pretend to be their client and post a thread like that. bbb.com: found a certain atlas staffing with the same address as them minus the suite 104. (don’t u think that’s kinda odd having different names?) I never stumbled into them in any of the websites that the agent suggested to my friend- (Alabama websites). in addition, if they’re already 20 years in recruiting nurses, there should be more information about them. Heller? :) Filipinos share news about good recruitment agencies. it would’ve spread like a wild fire the moment retrogression took place last 2005. this is just my opinion. I can actually be wrong, u know. Please do more researches so u can be sure of what you’re getting yourself into. J it's a crazy world out there! :) much better if you have relatives or friends in Alabama. U can have them check out the exact address (not telephone numbers). They did not actually post their address in their website. God bless… J

hello, i just wanted to confirm that atlas is a legitimate company in the us. i was connected with atlas last year when i applied as pt in the us. unfortunately i was not lucky enough to be picked by uscis lottery last april 2007 but i have a friend who was able to secure a working a visa through them also as a pt. i think this is the first time they are recruiting nurses under working visa. i myself is surprise because i am aware that entry level for nurses in the us is under immigrant petition. hope this answer your questions.

Hi d_suave, what happened to your application to atlas since you were not selected? Did they filed another H1B petition to you the following year? or Did you pull out your application from them and applied to another agency? Hope to hear from you soon, thanks...

hi am also interested with atlas ive been interested with their offers. i have a tourist visa and plans to apply with atlas to find a job in NY.. does any1 know whether it will be an advantage? will they be off help?/ thanks for ur responses

Well, I know you have already found this company to be legitimate. I live right down the street from them and they are real.I pass by the company everyday. I'm not sure of what type of services they offer and things of that nature. I advise you to call the Better Business Bureau. I am going by there tomorrow to see if they can help me in my job search...
