Atlanta Winter/Spring 2020 nurse residency

Published

Hey guys, so far Emory, Wellstar, and CHOA have opened there winter/spring 2020 applications... waiting on Piedmont and Emory

I applied this weekend, now waiting for an email back, have anybody else applied? ?

I also applied! I received an email with Gallup test from Wellstar. I’m super excited! I am eagerly awaiting Piedmont and others to open. What’s your specialty?

Hi! Glad your applying... Im desperately waiting for Piedmont to open because thats my number one choice.

I want to work in the NICU, if not available nursey, or L&D

You?

That is so awesome, I think you will definitely get your first choice. I see a lot of opportunities for NICU. My first choice is ICU. But I also love L&D and nursery.

Applied to CHOA, waiting for an email! Goodluck ladies!

Thank you Ashley. Good luck to you as well! :)

Hey guys, I just received an email from Wellstar, and will receive a phone interview from them tomorrow.

I also received an email from Grady with a questionnaire to turn in by the 23rd.

Nothing yet from CHOA

I have an upcoming interview with Wellstar as well. How did yours go? Any advice for me? I am so excited for both of you! This has been such an amazing journey and we are almost there!!?

Hey, the phone interview wasn’t even an interview, she just confirmed my information and told me to RSVP to an hiring expo in OCT, thats where the interviews will take place. Took like 5 minutes. ?

Hey! I applied to CHOA on Aug 7th or 8th. I got an email for a digital interview on 8/9 have just been waiting ever since I submitted..long wait!

Hey guys! I have only applied to Piedmont and CHOA so far just last week. I had a phone interview with Piedmont earlier this week and got offered to come in to interview with all three Intensive care units. I am soooo nervous it crazy! Im waiting to hear back from CHOA though i hope i will i worked there for three years but i had to quit last year bc i moved away to nursing school. I plan on applying to Northside, Wellstar, and Emory but just havent had time yet. I have heard that EMory only hires BSN is that true?? I used to work at emory before i worked at CHOA for a couple of years. Back then they did hire ASN but i know things are changing now. I ultimately want to be in the NICU like u Carkitty but im staying open. I currently work at the hospital where my school is as a NICU extern so i will apply here as well, but its four hours away from Atlanta which is where i want to move back to be near family and friends. I will be praying and hoping all of use are offered the position ?
