ATL- Piedmont Hospital RN Residency Program July 2012 App

Published

Is anybody else looking to apply to Piedmont Hospital's RN Residency Program but unable to find the application posting? I received an email from them last week stating the application be posted on July 13th as "RN Residency Program." It also states on their website that they will be accepting applications from July 13-July 23. I don't know if I'm missing it on the job postings or if they just haven't posted it yet. Is anybody else having this same problem?

I didnt see it either...I thought I was the only one...i heard they require you to sign a 2 year contract or pay back $10,000 if you are fired or quit, if you do not finish the two year contract as a new graduate....anyone else heard that?

I have heard about the 2 year contract. I haven't heard anything about how much it costs to break it. I do know that other hospitals allow you to break a contract if you pay them back. That would not be very fun if someone got fired and then had to pay that...

I really wish they would post this application like they said they would.

The mere fact of a two year contract lingering over my head detours me away from a hospital. Especially into a career you know nothing about....some people start a career and after working realize that its not for them ......

Very true, but I'm finding most hospitals in Atlanta right now will mostly only hire new grads into their residency programs. Most of them require a 2 year contract. Some even require a 3 year contract.

It won't let me reply to you since I haven't posted much on this site yet, but I did get your message. Thanks for letting me know!

I have been looking as well and haven't found it. I tried calling HR to ask about it but they don't have a live person you can speak to and make you leave a message.

Let us know if they call you back, pretty please! I might send an email to that "nursing development" email address.

I am looking into applying as well, glad I am not the only one unable to find it. Must be a technical issue on their end. I sent an e-mail 24 hrs ago to the address they provided. Have not heard anything yet, hoping for an answer by the end of tomorrow- giving them some "normal" business hours to maybe get it posted.
