ATL Nurse Residencys Winter 2022

Published

hello,

I haven't seen a thread yet for new grad nurse residencies starting in feb/march 2022. Thought id make a thread to post updates. So far I have applied to CHOA, Emory, Wellstar, and Piedmont-waiting for Northside and Grady to open up

YAYYY! Congratulations! Do y’all know if Emory also offers specialty pay? Or is the base pay is the same for everyone regardless of the unit?

Have you been able to get in contact with the recruiters? It goes straight to voicemail when I try to call

I also got an offer for mother baby’s at Grady but that 2yr contract ?. I’m leaning more towards Emory because their contract is now a year

One thing to consider is that after a year at Emory you’ll be getting the same pay as some of the other hospitals bases, if not more. That’s how I was looking at it ??‍♀️?

what are the repercussions if you were to break the 2 year contact? since there isn't a sign on bonus

After a year at emory it says $32 for mother baby unit. At Grady its $32 and after 3 months on the unit the pay bump up to $36. ??‍♀️ I just don't know ? but I do see what you are saying as well.
