hello,
I haven't seen a thread yet for new grad nurse residencies starting in feb/march 2022. Thought id make a thread to post updates. So far I have applied to CHOA, Emory, Wellstar, and Piedmont-waiting for Northside and Grady to open up

Have you been able to get in contact with the recruiters? It goes straight to voicemail when I try to call

Right!! Same girl, I got an offer at emory too but im undecided because emory is paying lower that other hospitals but the contract is for 1 year which is great but IDK LOL

One thing to consider is that after a year at Emory you’ll be getting the same pay as some of the other hospitals bases, if not more. That’s how I was looking at it ??♀️?

what are the repercussions if you were to break the 2 year contact? since there isn't a sign on bonus

After a year at emory it says $32 for mother baby unit. At Grady its $32 and after 3 months on the unit the pay bump up to $36. ??♀️ I just don't know ? but I do see what you are saying as well.
