As you already know, this will vary from person to person- what worked for one may not work for another. With that being said, personally, I found Kaplan's questions to be the closest thing to NCLEX. As for ATI- what a joke! It was a complete waste of time and was no where near what you will see on NCLEX. I am not familiar with RN mastery so I cannot comment on it.
My personal recommendations are Hurst for content, Kaplan for questions and Lacharity for prioritization/delegation.
@SuperRN365, What was your study schedule? I am using Hurst now & plan on getting Kaplan Qbank when I am done to then just start practicing questions. I was going to practice content questions with Saunders while I finish Hurst.
I did 100 questions a day 4 weeks before my exam and then did the ones I got wrong. After that, I did Hurst and reread the material within the 6 days before my exam along with doing a quiz from Hurst each day.
I'm curious as to why you feel RN mastery was no help? Many of the questions are compatible to Kaplan (I've finished about 15% of the qbank) and it's the only thing I'm able to use on my phone "on the go"
I guess to me the questions on NCLEX mastery were more content heavy compared to how the NCLEX wants you to think. I didn't feel it tested my critical thinking skills as much as Kaplan, but that's just me

Is the Kaplan Qbank really all it's cracked up to be? I bought the RN Mastery question app for $30 (1600 questions) and have all my old ATI quizzes to retake (another few hundred questions). Should I buy the Qbank on top of this? I test on June 18th, so I only have 2.5 weeks. I'm making 70-75% on most of the ATI practice quizzes. If the Kaplan Qbank is really that amazing, then I'll shell out another $40, but if the 2,000 questions I have already will suffice, then I don't want to waste my money. Thoughts? Thanks, guys!
